We were fortunate to engage Kadabra Group as our building contractor for the renovation of our house in Port Melbourne. The work involved an extension to the dining and family area and a complete new kitchen, bathrooms (3) renovation, new flooring throughout, replacement of heating and hot water as well as courtyard renovation. We were very happy with the quality of the work, the time taken and the ease of dealing with a ] competent contractor.

We used Kadabra Group as the builders on our recent renovation in Richmond. With limited access to the site and a council with stringent regulations and approvals process, their experience with inner city projects and in particular City of Yarra was an important draw card for us when deciding on a contractor. All the interactions we had with their team, and by extension their sub contractors/trades, were professional and enjoyable. They were always happy to talk us through the process and answer any questions we had. Both our neighbours also commented on how pleasant their team was, which was great feedback for us as they are important relationships.

Our renovation required part demolition of the existing Federation period house and construction of a single-story extension along with some modifications to the original part of the structure. From the outset, we found the Management and building staff willing to work cohesively to our satisfaction. They were thorough in their planning and preparation and met regularly with us prior to and during the build to outline schedules. Any issues were dealt with promptly and resolved with minimal fuss.
At all times, we found the staff and their other trades involved in the renovation approachable and amenable. They arrived on time each day and worked conscientiously to ensure the best outcome and a professional finish. Their extended group of Contractors were equally professional in their approach and worked to the standard required by Kadabra Group.
